I contracted ‘Waugh the builder' to complete a sun-room extension in November with the aim of getting it completed prior to Xmas. This deadline was achieved despite several days of adverse weather conditions. I'm extremely happy with the quality of workmanship and finishing on the overall project. The project management was excellent and we were kept well informed of the different stages of the project, all of which started with days and sometimes hours of each other.
Tom's experience and knowledge of this extension type meant that he was able to recommend structure and cosmetic changes, all of which were agreed and implemented. This advice has not only made the extension more pleasing to the eye it also saved me money. My only regret is not involving Tom from the initial drawing stages. The whole workforce were extremely professional and well mannered. I would fully recommend Waugh the builder for any building work.

Selecting a builder is perhaps the most difficult decision you will ever make, especially as you are entrusting them with your hard earned savings, maybe even your life savings!
Where do you start? From experience, you look for someone who comes highly recommended and with a track record. Tom Waugh ticks both those boxes and has a vast experience behind him. That made my decision easy. His confidence and belief is infectious and this, combined with a down to earth “cards on the table” type approach, immediately sets you at ease.
From Day One Tom was in constant contact and his communication skills keep you in touch all the way through the project. No adjustments were seen as problems and he overcomes all obstacles. I recently employed Tom Waugh and his building company to renovate my new four surgery Dental practice. Mr Waugh was an excellent Site Manager and his employees were excellent, reliable workers. Mr Waugh was very reliable and hard working and the work the team produced was of the highest class. Mr Waugh's attention to detail was particularly remarkable and this helped produce a wonderfully renovated property.
If ever a problem arose during work, Mr Waugh was quite happy to keep me informed of all details and solutions and continue with proceedings with no time lost. His excellent managerial qualities helped the renovation run smoothly in excellent time. Mr Waugh and his employees was very easy to get hold of and would always arrive on time when they said they would, A very helpful and hardworking team of excellent builders.

We have nothing but praise and admiration for the way Tom led us through our extension project from concept to completion.
The work was a continuous process and all the various trades dovetailed into each other such that no delays were experienced during the build. So much so, and due in no small measure, to Tom's daily presence, the entire extension was completed two months exactly from the date the digger started cutting the soil for the foundations.
The quality and detail of the work has been to such a standard our extension, both inside and out, gives the impression that it is part of the original construction of our home. Surely that must be the objective of any major alteration to a house.
